Bot footage often has studio-perfect lighting or completely black backgrounds. Real people's rooms have visible furniture, posters, or ambient clutter. Extremely blurry or pixelated backgrounds (to hide editing artifacts) are red flags.
Pre-recorded bot videos often have slight lip-sync delays (> 200ms). Ask a question and watch their lips—if their mouth moves noticeably before/after sound, it's fake.
Bots follow scripts. Ask something random: "What's your favorite dinosaur?" Real people will laugh or answer; bots will ignore or give generic "I'm here to chat" responses.
